| Hi i am new to computers. I really dont know to much about the internal parts. I got a computer from my dad that needed a hard drive and power supply. I successfully installed both, but have a problem. When the sound comes out of my speakers it sounds like the people talking are on helium or something. Does anyone know my problem and can answer me with easy ways to fix it.....Thanks so much. I also dont know what kind of sound card this is Last edited by computersickness; 01-10-2007 at 02:00 AM. | I'm not sure I understand--or I have never encountered something like this. It would be a good idea to identify the kind of sound card it is so you can reinstall the drivers and see if that fixes it. Sometimes in the sound settings there are different types of effects that can be enabled (depending on the card), perhaps some of these are mistakenly enabled?
