Media bay problem

I have an hp DVD and CD reader and writer combo that means it reads and writes DVD’s and CD’s. For some reason it won’t open blank DVD’s and CD’s anymore, it used to but now it wont. I will open DVD’s and CD’s that are written on.

Can anybody tell me what the problem with my media bay?
