Hi there and welcome to CompuForums! We're glad you are here and look forward to you becoming an active member in our community.

Do you mean you want to put the two motherboards into one computer and run them together? As far as I know, that is impossible.

If you buy a certain motherboard you can run two processers on it, as long as both the board and the processers are both compatible. Also you can also combine two graphics card, but again this is dependant on if both the mobo and the graphics cards are compatible.

Yes you can, but this is highly complicated to set up but perfectly doable. In Windows this also works out very expensive because you need to buy Windows 2003 Server Enterprise Edition with full licensing to beable to Cluster 2 Motherboards together. This normally only takes place in a server environment not a personal computing environment. You can also set up a cluster in linux for free. Photos of a cluster of Mini-ITX motherboards can be found here - http://www.mini-itx.com/projects/cluster/ this configuration is using FreeBSD and a MPICH to cluster the motherboards together. I guess if you installed a graphical front end onto FreeBSD it could be suitable for some proccesing such as GIMP etc... Cluster generally happen throigh a network as shown here.

Although if your talking about running two proccesors than you can on one board. Some require two sockets to run dual CPUs, but others just require 1 socket but need CPU boards with two CPUs on them. However the compatibility of these are unknown to me so check carefully before purchasing.
