Default Video Card Change/Device Manager Problem

I just installed the ATI 9250 PCI 256MB card into my computer. Previously I had the factory Intel845 graphics controller. Now, whenever I start up my computer it tells me it found new video controller. Is there some way to ditch this or get rid of the Intel controller. It's not really a problem, just annoying.

Also, when I try to go to device manager under the system tab from the Control Panel it tells me "The selected file could not be found." Is there some way to make device manager work again?

Thanks

Default RE: Video Card Change/Device Manager Problem

I'm not sure what motherboard your computer is so I can't give you detailed instructions, but go into your BIOS settings, and disable the "On-board graphics" option. This varies motherboard to motherboard, but there is almost always on screen help.

Also, not sure how to fix your device manager problem yet but I will do some research.
