Default My Java [Java Chat] and Firewall.

On AIM, file tansfer does not work unless I turn off the firewalls. Java chat's will also not work. Does this have to do with my firewall? The AIM transfer for sure, is caused by the firewall. Also, in some games, mutiperson does not respond.

My question is, is this because my firewall is too strong, or set to a high level, or does this relate to other things.[ Please specify]

What firewall software are you using, or is it a hardware firewall?

Do you have access to control the firewall settings?

You may want to open the Java ports, I have forgotten what ports they are, but look on Google for the port numbers and then open them.

@Jon better grant access to AIM n Java Chat Application. Instead of full access to the internet give outbound access alone.
