Default Adding to existing images

For any users of Acronis True Image, is it possible to add extra data to an existing image, as opposed to having to create a brand new image with the the new data addition? Can such a thing be achieved in Norton Ghost?

I know that Norton Ghost has the Ghost Explorer where you can inject files straight into an image. Im not sure about Acronis, as ive not used it that much. Try opening the Acronis image with Ghost Explorer, but I doubt that will work.
