Default Advice and Help Please...

Hey guys, I am going to buy a laptop, Macbook Pro, and in that I can use bootcamp to run Windows as well, the thing is I am buying it from University and in order to connect to there database with Windows, I need Windows Vista Edition, if someone here can tell me where I can buy it for a good price, cause I need a geniune copy! Would appreciate it a lot!

Also some feed back on the Macbook pro, here is the specification to the one I am about to buy: Apple Macintosh Laptops: About the Laptops, Information Technology Services, UNCG

Its the Apple version the last one, priced at $2356.00 (15 inch MacBook Pro 2.5 GHZ), so guys if you can help me on the issues of Windows Vista Enterprise and some feedback on the Mac Probook? Or should I go for the IBM Lenovo, but freinds tell me that IBM Lenovo sucks?

Seriously needs someone to really tell me about bootcamp on the Mac Pro Book?

Bootcamp works fine with XP, the same for the Apple drivers, but I'm unsure as to how much support there is for Vista...
Whether you should get a Mac or PC really depends on what sort of course you are doing. If you would be using Windows more than OSX then you should really go for a PC.

I looked around for cheap prices and cheapest i saw was $81 incl shipping on eBay. Are you sure you need vista to connect to the network though? I managed to connect rather easily to my schools network with a linux computer and the school runs windows XP.

The specs of the computer you're getting are pretty awesome as well. Macs are indeed very good OSs but i find they can't really do much apart from multi-media editing/creating etc.
