It's a little difficult to see as the screenshot is quite small [you could always post a jpeg as an attachment] but it looks fine here. It's more than likely that either your video card or monitor either are faulty and/or cannot handle the resolution your "normal" desktop is set to. Try lowering the resolution for a while and seeing how it performs.

Sounds like a driver problem. I've seen similar (appearance is fuzzy) with the wrong driver.
As for the going blank, Did you change anything lately? Driver? Settings? Resolution? Sync Rate? Safe mode uses minimum drivers, including minimal video drivers (thus the lower resolution and color depth). These are usually MS provided drivers (256 colors and 800X600 resolution). My suggestion is to uninstall the drivers, preferably, use the ROLL BACK feature if they changed lately. If not, download and install the drivers while in safe mode.

nah I don't unfortunatly.
Okay a little update on the problem, when I shut down the PC and turn the monitor off and come back later it works fine for a while(About a half hour) and then does the same thing. Also I noticed it's like the whole monitor just freezes, because I was installing a game and when the monitor froze the game still continued with the install as well as everything else such as music and internet. |
