ok I have 2 problems.
I better say now that yes its a paid for copy of system mechanic !!! problem 1 : i have tryied installing the iolo anti-virus which is system mechanics own virus protection but it keeps telling me that I am running threatfire anti virus. But i uninstalled this using the add/remove program in control panel. I have tryied using the file search feature to find any related files biut nothing comes up. Any ideas??? problem 2: system mechanic keeps telling me there is a hard drive error. so i try reparing and its still there next scan. I have tryied scan disk but still there after its complete any ideas??? thanks for any help |

Hey there! Did you shut down the anti-virus software before you uninstalled it? There are some anti-virus programs, like McAfee, load multiple modules, that you may not realize are running. So, it's quite possible that you didn't get all of it uninstalled.. There are other programs out there that you can use to scan your disk.. such as TuneUp Utilities.. Good luck.

I'd uninstall all antivirus products and stick to Avast.
