Exclamation virus, virus virus

please help me, I think I have a virus, I have scanned one of the programs and it said various different things, but it wasn't a freeware software so wasn't able to go any further with it.

I am currently running avg, have tried avast, spybot search & destroy, adaware and they don't pick anything up

Trojan-Dialer
Trojan-Dropper
Adware, topsearch, BHO, Elite Media, MyWebSearch, Viewpoint media player
Need2find Toolbar
Lastad- downloader
Kazaa -p2p

ANY HELP WITH THIS WOULD BE GREAT.

I also have 2 folder from an incomplete download, I know some of you on here have suggested various options but so far nothing has worked

Alvin.And.The.Chipmunks[2007]DvDrip[Eng]-aXXo
trojan.remover.EXE
these are the 2 folder in question that are stubborn and just won't delete, well they do delete but re-appear at re-boot, have tried all the suggestions including rmdir but nothing works

ARE THEY HARMFUL IF JUST LEFT AND DO NOTHING

so far my computer seems fine, havn't seen any sign of things going wrong, its gone incredibly slow but thats about it!!!

Free trial software that you download and you need to pay money to remove viruses is more than likley generating false reports to get you to hand over cash. Just stick to the well known and proven software: Avast, Comodo, CCleaner and Spybot.

mrs spiv Ash is so right - those softs are rubbish and they can block the good AVs from picking up any viruses. You could try using House Call which is an online virus scanner by Trend Micro - they are reputable and it doesn't cost anything.

Well...try scanning the folders that wont go away with whichever AV you feel is the best. (Try ESET Nod32) and then if they have viruses found then see if you can delete or send them to quarentine folder. If all else fails with AVs and all, id say that a Format is coming your way. Try and use some of the really good AVs out there like Nod32, comodo etc... etc... But you should be carefull with what you download and make sure you always scan the folder or file BEFORE you open it. Also, if you are using torrents, try and stay away from the files that just have .exe at the end of them. These execution files usually have viruses or other harmfull things. Hence, you should scan them before execution. If they are clean then its all you! But please, be carefull with what you download and ALWAYS scan!

Yeah, most freeware virus scanners with names like "Virus Killer" "Virus Removal Pro" and the such like that, are generally junk.. AVG is all I use, and nothing else. It picks up everything, and gives no issues most of the time. It may not be the best out there, but it is really good for the price (free). Stick with AVG, and you should just delete those folders if you think they have harmful things in them. If they are downloaded from the internet or from a torrent, there is a good chance they probably have a Trojan or Worm in them. If you don't need them, just try and get rid of them. Good luck with the virus removal!
