| Hi there Please could someone help? I think that i've managed to un-install my soundcard drivers and don't know how to get them back. I have looked in the recycle bin but to no avail. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks |

| Hello Terminal5, Firstly - welcome to CompuForums. We provide our computer help for free, so we would highly appreciate it if you could help us. You can do this by answering other people's questions, or if you are not so technically-minded, post in our general lounge forum. Alternatively you can purchase a premium membership to help contribute to the rising running costs of this site. If you can't help us then we can't help you. This system allows us to continue to provide free computer support. You're going to have to provide a bit more information than that - what sound card / chipset do you have, what OS are you running on?

| not a problem. visit Realtek and select the drivers for 98/2000/me/xp and choose a download download link (there are three to choose from) but just to warn you. The downloads from thiis site are very slow. As ASH has said above, please try to help other users or at least try to post in the general lounge forum. Hope this works for you if not please let me know. |

| After downloading, you can check then all your devices wether working or not at My Computer>Properties>Hardware>Device Manager. You can see if they'r properly installed if there's no exclamation point or question mark in it.

| Personally, I would have gone into the device manager first, and "uninstalled" the device. then told it to rescan. If the drivers are on the HDD elsewhere, they would be automatically installed.
