Hi! I aplogize if this is under the wrong category. I'm pretty computer illiterate. lol I think my computer is fixing to crash again and I was wondering if there was a website that I could store all of my photos that are on my hard drive. I need an external harddrive or something but can't afford it right now and I've tried saving them to a CD but the CD only holds just a few at a time and I only have a few CD's.

but you cant hold a whole lot of photos there... i have around 100 ... but ive never seen a limit to space

Not only do they limit photos but they limit size (they scale them down).

Just buy a 250GB Western Digital MyBook - it can run on USB 2.0 or Firewire 400/800 for like 200 bucks (tax included) - it's perfect for storing your pictures you can use windows's command prompt to format it into NTFS - only takes a second (you can google how to do it). Then just drop pictures on it as a MSD (mass storage device) - doesn't need an OS or anything...

If you have over 250GB (or I think it'll read 233GB if it's formatted in NTFS, but that's irrelevant), of photos, then obviously you can step it up - the 500gb isn't much more...that should be more than enough...

Yes I have a 250 HD for that very reason

I got a buffalo 750 (375 * 2 runs out to 356 * 2 = 712) dual hard drive external, I love it...i'd love it even more if it wasn't maxed out - but I still love it .

I had a My world 2 terrabyte terra station and i took the drives out and put them in my server , works well, but you said you cant afford it , so your best bet would be to put them to photobucket
