Default keyboard stroke memory.

I'm tired of typing passwords so I was wondering, can any of my keyboards keys hold a multi digit password so with one stroke of a key I can enter it ? or is it possible for a password window to retain a memory so I could copy/paste the password ?

Are you looking to not have to type your passwords in the web? in other applications within your OS? or your OS itself?

Yes, you can have the software remember your passwords.

Not the smartest thing to do, but it's possible...never seen it done with a keyboard as that's just an input device but most browsers are equipped with the option and there's programs that'll do it for out of browser stuff.

But like I said, it's not exactly up there in the "smartest things to do" list...

For Internet passwords, Opera (and probably firefox) has a magic wand tool, so when you press Ctrl+Enter, it automatically inputs you username and password.

And if you want to auto log in to your computer (don't do this at work, it will more than likely be against regulations) (also assuming windows, workgroup or domain)) would be to use Tweak UI's auto logon feature.

Additionally, there are professional (and free) password programs that will work for most things.
