Default file cannot be deleted .... yay

in my computer i have 2 hard drives. one is my OS drive 160Gb and the other is a 250Gb for storage and backups... i usually take one backup each 2 weeks and i liek to delete the old ones so the are not int he way... but since it is a direct copy of what is on my C drive ... "windows cannot delete this file " how can i remove these old backups?

You might want to pop that drive into another computer or use an external enclosure to delete it.

Har! Run a Linux OS off a Live CD to delete it. Problem solved...

try this free piece of software Easily delete, move or rename stubborn files in Windows XP and see if that helps, it removes any file (eg. system, in use, whatever)
