Default No where to install

Ok, remember in my hd prob thread how one of my hds died, well i unplugged the bad one and then reset(well, i might have turned it off) the raid, i then thought the prob was "fixed" so i ordered vista. It came and i put in the install cd, it got past the language, install menu, activation code, upgrade or custom screen, and then i get to the place where it asks where you want to install vista. Well i look at the options and theres nothing listed, no drives were found. Really there was only one button that i was allowed to click besides reset and that was the load driver button, i clicked that and then pressed browse (to see what drives it could see), there was a c drive so i pressed it and it said it needed to be formatted so i clicked the format button but it said it was unable to format.
Im just wondering whats wrong with my drives
I think it might be a raid issue but the start up screen only has a bios menu option and im only able to change a few unrelated things

Thx in advanced
-Ben

Was there a choice for quick or normal format?

To me, this is sounding more and more like a raid issue. What I suggest is to find a drive with the same capacity by the same company as your current drive and get it. You're obviously going to need to format your new drive. And tell me how is goes after you put in the new drive.

Man, you have never spelled tomorrow right. It would be best to get a drive the same capacity as the drive in your computer now if he has one.
