 Outlook 2003 vcard - unable to open in Outlook 2007?? It's not unusual for software to be incompatible - higher version to lower version... But a friend sent me (twice) a vcard from Outlook 2003. I have 2007 and it appeared as an envelope attachment (instead of vcard), and when I opened it, it was empty. What's up with that??

| MS 2007 (and Outlook) does have some compatability issues with 2003. That is one, another is calendar requests. You will not be able to accept or forward/reply to calendar events. I assume both are due to some of the back end chages to the format for the v-card and calendar request. However, after searching the Outlook forums (rather short and quickly), I did not see anything posted as to why it is giving problems as it is just a text file.
