Default help please

I don't know if this is the right place to post this. But i've been having a big problem and i would really appreciate it if someone could help me
You see i lost my administrator password and i have many files that i need on my computer, and i really wish i could save them somehow. I have no other users except the administrator and currently im using a different computer
I just changed my password by adding another 2 letters(perhaps?) to my original password, i also typed the same 2 letters at my hint, but apparently i messed up, the hint button isn't showing up. I tried the caps locks and switched to different languages when i typed my administrator's password but it just didn't work, what did i do wrong?, how can i enter my account?

Hi Ryoga,
Welcome to the forum - good to have you here. I hope you will be on the board for a long time, and if there is anything I can do to make your experience better please let me know. Be sure that you have read the rules [ http://www.compuforums.org/announcem...post_message_1 ]. And please note - if you only ever intend on coming here when you need computer help, then we will not help you. Please post in other threads as well as your own, whether or not they are computer questions. And lastly, if you do care about whether CompuForums stays online, please consider a premium membership.

What OS are you running?
And by "Administrator" account, do you mean the account you normally use or the actual account entitled "Administrator"?

I love this type of thread, lol. Due to my inner desire to gain a knowlege of hacking, I have found a few programs that can help with this sort of thing. if wierdo's advice does not work, let us know and I have a few programs that can help. I wont take the time to post them right now tho, especially since they can be used for bad motives and we're not supposed to promote that.

Oh, and by the way. Dont post thread titles like "help please' I think that most of us get a little annoyed by these because they don't give any info on the subject, and also, more info will direct experienced members to your thread and you will be helped faster than if you just sound desperate, lol. but dont take this the wrong way. i know that you're new and this is your first post so it's ok. just some advice.

I don't think this user's coming back. If they don't know how to title a thread, how can they know how to find it again?

Well, i did come back. But this time I have a new problem....mp mp3 got stuck in a middle of a song. It doesn't respond when i click "play" or "stop", and it's "removable disk" doesn't show up. Can someone tell me what's the problem and how to fix it?, help would be appreciated, ussually it resets when I hold "stop for some seconds and click "play" again, but this time it's just stuck. What kind of information do you need?

Opening a new thread would be good - and while you're waiting, replying to other people will certainly mean a faster answer
