Default AutoRun CD? - Help!

Hello.
Right, sorry... Didnt know where this question should go really. :S

Umm, all I need to do is: Make a CD with an Autorun path to load up an HTML webpage in a folder called '_main' - The autoload webpage will be called index.html - BUT! I don't know the code, and I had a brief look through Google but yes. - I know you do it in Notepage (I think!) - So yeah, anyhelp would be brilliant.

Also! On another note, to do with this toppic. Ummm, say in my HTML document called INDEX wouldnt it be possible to make a link called say 'Documents' - And make that directly load a folder from the CD (If you understand?)

Many thanks,
Kirk.

Default Autorun

1. Using Notepad type the following:

Code:
[autorun]
open=Filename.exe
icon=Filename.ico
2. Save the file as:
autorun.inf

3. Burn all files to a CD.

If this does not work for you with HTML files, I have had really good luck using a small program called AutoRun Pro (its free).

1. Download Autorun Pro here.

2. Open Notepad and type the following:

Code:
[Autorun]
open=AutoRunPro.exe /s

[AutoRunPro]
Run1=index.html
The /s switch removes the splash screen (use at your descretion, depending upon your needs).

3. Save the file as :

autorun.inf

4. Burn to CD, including AutoRunPro. This works like a charm.

Glad to hear things worked out.

Occasionally, where one situation has a bug, the other will resolve. Tha't why I gave both. Enjoy, and feel free to share this info with others, and keep us informed how things work out.
