Default Need more info

1. What is the name and version of the game?

2. Is the primary executeable a .exe file or .msi file?

3. What is your Operating System?

Without knowing this, its difficult to diagnose the problem. Please post a response. Thanks.

Hi there chico06!
Firstly, welcome to CompuForums. I hope that you can visit our forum often in the future and post - rather than just receiving our help and advice, and then never visiting again. We provide our help for free, and all we ask in return is that you participate in our forum and refer your friends, or consider a premium membership.

Is this a retail copy of The Sims, or is it a backup / self-burned copy?

Hmm... do you know how to make screenshots?

If so, please go to "My Computer", and right click your CD drive and click "Open". Then take a screenshot of this and post it.

I think you clicked "Auto Run" on the menu rather than "Open". It should come up with a list of the files on the CD rather than the launcher
