Talking Vista Skin
I tried the vista beta, and I really like the skin Microsoft used. However, I don't think I can run games on it, and I don't want to pay $150 for a buggy OS. I am going to wait for SP1 or SP2 to buy vista. I the mean time, I was wondering if there is a skin for xp that look like vista. Preferably free. TIA

I'm currently running the XP Zune theme from Microsoft:

Be sure to save your wallpaper before installing - it'll override it. It looks great but it doesn't weigh down your system. But for the true Vista look, use the Vista Transformation Pack.

I installed both themes. I like the zune look, but I really want the vista look. I install the vista thing, but to no avail. I went through the installation and there were a bunch of empty boxes that I could have checked. Should I have checked those boxes to get the vista look. Please help.

It just says like toolbar or start menu. I don't know what checking the box does, does anyone know. Does tghis aply the vista skin for these things. TIA

I'm running windows vista , i havent run into any major bugs , the only bugs people get is because people upgrading from xp to vista and there hardware vendors havent released the updates to vista making them not compatible .. Its not a bug

I got it installed, and I don't like it as much as I like aero. It wasn't transparent. I was wondering if there was anything I could do to remove it. TIA

Oh, sorry for my ignorance. Why can't you just go to add/remove programs and uninstall it their? Is it not listed?
