I know that you can boot programs in C++ using system(file path and its extention) command but is it possible to actually use the program with in the C++ program. This is the scenario I am going to make a program that boots up ResHacker, which is what i used to change what my start menu text, within that i would like C++ to open up C:/WINDOWS/explorer.exe and from there go to the directory of explorer opened in ResHacker and change the text to w/e the user inputs. Sounds complicated and i bet you dont under stand what Im talking about. I would just like to know it its possible for C++ to navigate a program that C++ booted and edit its contents.

I just thought that i also need to know a way to compress my ResHacker file and the C++ file together once Ive made the program because i would like to take this to let my friends use the program with out having to change the directories or any thing. And how would making them one file change the path to ResHacker.exe

i will try to figure it out, but I need to make sure I understand you first

- You want your program to be booted in C++ (obviously)

- You want to be able to open explorer and edit with ResHack

It won't be easy, and I'm good at C++, give me a few days

I already know how to boot programs in C++ but im guessing that your gunna have to use a different command in order to do every thing else i want. If you could find a tutorial or list of commands to navigate the opened program that would be a substitute to what your doing now. But thanks for your help i really appreciate it. Where did u learn your C++ knowledge??????
