Hi,

Well i am looking at doing another insall of XP but need to make a backup of most of the files on my HDD.

Are there any programs which allow for backups to be taken?

If you have a network then you could map a network drive, then copy all the files to your other pc, then copy them back afterwards. Or there are CDRs or you could use some software backup solution. But I have never needed to use one, I just copy and paste my files about.
