Default Google Spreadsheets

Well Google Spreadsheets seems to have launched with a bang, lots of people are talking about it.
You can check it out here-

Looks like Google will be taking some of Microsofts customers!

Default RE: Google Spreadsheets

nah, google spreadsheets is far far far too simple. It dont even do Java Macros, most people like M$ Office cos it does VB Macros, but I am quite happy with the Java Macros of Star Office 8 and OpenOffice 2. GoogleSpreadsheets is a good web app, but it aint nothing to get so turned on about.

Google spreadsheets = good for things where you know you will be moving around (and know that you will have a internet connection).

OOo Spreadsheets = good for everything Google Spreadsheets can't do.

Excel = good for security holes etc.

interesting idea, they haven't denied logging searches before, so I guess its possible, take a look at teh ts and cs and see if it allows them to steal data off you.

What about people with no Internet connection. They cannot use Google spreadsheet if they do not plan to make it available offline.
