Default Windows One Care

Anyone try it yet? I can't believe Microsoft is selling a product that protects their own product from infections!

I tried it when it was free, but I prefer Avast myself. What I like about Avast is it is "set and forget" - but Windows OneCare was too dumbed-down for me.

AVG Free is the way to be!

I like AVG Free, I tend to stay away from M$ products, they tend to be evil... I'm in love with my Linux network, Got my Mac OSX laptop and my Linux WarLords... Only 1 stupid Windows box around here

Even if you had downloaded it when it was free you would have needed to pay for it.

I think AVG Free's interface is cumbersome and has too many nag screens.

I like Avast as you don't need to do anything - it even downloads updates for you automatically!

The only action you need to do is install it and confirm what to do should you get a virus [if it detects one in something you're downloading, it will stop the download].

And my favorite feature - for home use it's free!

From my experience its still incredibly buggy and not exactly market ready. Not to say it won't be a good product when its fully released. Ill stick with Symantec Corporate AV, much less obtrusive than anything else I've used

If you spend like 5 mins configing AVG you dont get nag screens, and you can set it to automatically update. It is availible for linux too.
