 Joke of the Day: MS makes IE8 Standards compliant Microsoft to make IE8 standards compliant by default The about-face is aimed at easing Web designers' compatibility fears Microsoft to make IE8 standards compliant by default Seems that they may have finally figured out they are not the standards setting body. But I doubt it.      |

| I do admit, I didn't think they'd be releasing IE8 this soon after IE7. So, I apologize for saying otherwise, I was wrong. It's never easy admitting ones mistakes, but it is necessary for growth. Still, becoming standards compliant isn't what you think, read the article, about how they have 3 layers of "compliance" |
