Best Web Host

Hello i bought a web hosting package with cubic hosting it cost me $21 but i have not got my services i bought because its been taken over by another company

what do you think is the cheapest webhost including domain?

I've seen iK:Host > Reliable UK & European Web Hosting Solutions, Domain Registration, DirectAdmin Web Hosting, DirectAdmin Reseller Hosting, which seems fairly good and their servers are based in the UK and Germany. Just avoid HostGator [they stole $800US from me] and CirtexHosting [this site is currently with them, their servers are usually up and down like a yo-yo] and you should be fine. Companies like Dreamhost and A Small Orange have both had good reviews.

It should be instant, or in the next 24 hours. If you got a domain with it, you may need to wait between 24-48 hours for the DNS to clear

I have no idea since I have not purchased any hosting from them, but I expect it to be within the next 24 hours.

I have hosted for many customers with 99.9% uptime, which is quite remarkable. However.. Theres been no business. I used to have hostgator they arent anything to brag about..

Host Monster - Web hosting

is the best host I have used, with great support, instead validation, free domains and 30GB of storage. They oversell on there bandwith, but no one is gonna use more than 100GB, let alone 3TB

the cheapest one ive ever seen is from 1and1
1&1 Internet Inc. *-*Instant Overview
6 bucks per year is a really good deal (not as many features though)

1 and 1 have had many, many bad reviews, though.Still, I doubt that anyone could be as bad as HostGator - they'll take your money and basically say f**k you.

I used to go with a friend who had his own server and used godaddy.com for a domain name.

But now I'm cheap, and I run the free domain server (no-ip) from my comp and I run apache from my comp with PHP installed. Of course I can run JSP apps 'n such but whatever, I use it mostly to show pix 'n other light stuff anyways.

Own dedicated server is the way to go IMO.

, and if you run a fairly large site it can be very slow for users.

I'll be purchasing a VPS hopefully soon for the site, which will mean better uptime, etc.

Yeah, VPSs are good. You get better bandwith at least.

Actuall,y I have hostmonster, and I think it is 300GB storage
