Default Paypal urgent help

What happened

I sold an item on ebay and they received it no probs, but when the buyer sent me the money, paypal though it was suspicious i dont know why, i have just added a card about 3 days ago as my debit card will be coming in the post on monday. Paypal need an invoice from where i got the product from previously and a receipt. The only problem is i only have the receipt but the invoice was in my old paypal account which is closed down now.

Also does anyone know if a confrim my bank account then the limitations will be removed, and i heard something about removing paypal from your bank account with online banking.

Hope someone can help

i don't know a whole lot about paypal, but your old account MIGHT not be closed down (unless you checked, and are positive) most sites online keep your file on record, in case you need to use it again. If I were you, I would try to get on your old one. It would prolly ask for your security question, if you could re-activate it. If your new account was created from the old one, check and see if theres an archive section. Otherwise, if you can't get it to work, and you are willing to risk the guy not sending the money, send the item first, and when the guy gets it, he could transfer it through western union.

HoPe this helped!

Default PayPal

Why would PayPal want a receipt for an item you sold on eBay? What was their explanation? Usually, the only time that PayPal gets involved in this sort of thing (requiring a receipt for an item you sold on eBay) is when the buyer initiates a complaint of fraud or fraudulent products.

Generally, PayPal and eBay don't care where you get the product as long as it's not stolen or counterfeit. What kind of item was it? What is the auction number?

Are you sure its a legitimate email/contact from paypal?

Could be phishing for account details?

Otherwise paypal would not ask for an invoice at all even if it was from another account, they have all the details they need and can access it whenever they wanted.

Seems a bit strange that you closed 1 paypal account down and opened another?

Many people seem to have problems with PayPal, I have only ever used it for purchasing items and have never had a problem. I guess a few calls to their customer services should sort the problem out.
