Just to let you know that wireless b technology is very outdated and that is why they are practically giving them away. It is probably better to go with wireless G technology as it has a much better speed and range.

However, if you only want to use your wireless card for surfing the internet it is perfectly fine - you still get 11 megabits per second, and very nearly all wireless hotspots are backwards-compatible with wireless B.
