Lightbulb Sound Card Drivers

Does anyone know where I can obtain the latest driver for the SigmaTel Audio Device? I am running a Gateway with Windows 2000, and the name of the driver's file is STAC97.sys. My current driver is from 3/27/2001, and I would like to update it. I went to Gateway's website, and all they have is the version I've got already, and I'm sure there is a newer version. Anybody know where I can find it?

Hello,

A list of SigmaTel drivers is avalible here:
http://list.driverguide.com/list/company1690/

Unfortunatley, the website is driven by ads - and requires you to login to download - but you can find usernames and passwords for the site here:

Try www.driverguide.com ;-)

They have drivers for most things but require a log on, however these are all pretty generic, I think they issue the same log on to many people, - username - driver1 password - all
