Default Price drop on dual layer dvd's

I can't wait till the dual layer dvd-r's comes to a reasonable price. Currently $3 per disc which is ridiculous.. As soon as blu-ray becomes established on the market we will see serious price drops on DVD’s just as we saw major price breaks on cd's when DVD came out. What do you think?

Default RE: Price drop on dual layer dvd's

How cheap are they now? I got a DVD+RW when the first came out. Then I found some cheap DVD-R discs and was hoping to use my brother's computer to burn them, but he took it back with him. Now I need a DVD-R to burn these, and figured on just getting a DL burner as most of them can burn both + and - R/RWs.

I don't pay much for dual layer DVD's.
Depending what brand you buy, and where you get them from.. you can get them cheap.

I buy mine in bulk at the computer markets near where I live, and it works out to be around $2 per disc - Princo brand.

Not a bad deal
