nVidia!!! BFGTech makes the best nvidia cards, I personally have the 7800GT... It'll kill any ATi card.

not really "kill" any ATi card. The x1800xt will kill that card. and I like eVGA cards.

NVIDIA because I'm happy w/ the LInux drivers... ATI's drivers suck. I have 2 x 6800 GT in this PC.

I have a X700PRO - ATI, happy with it, but Im more of a programing geek than a gaming and video geek so I dont really need that good graphics. so it doesn't really matter. but i like nvidia and ati, i think they both have there own advantages... See techreports.com

I have an ATI, and it works perfectly (but I don't play games, have Photoshop, etc.)

I never tried Nvidia but it looks good.

I used to have alot of trouble with ATI cards about 4 years ago, that's when they just could not sort out their drivers and basically the cards did not work properly due to the poor drivers.

From then on, I started only buying nVidia cards and Im happy with them.

I hear ATI have improved alot now though?

Nvidia all the way for me. My aunt runs a ATI card and has nothing but problems when she plays Everquest. I have never had any problems with Nvidia, with any game I have ever played.
