Do you get this screen occasionally, or on every boot. What happens after you get this blank screen. Does your machine ultimately boots up. Does your machine work alright?

Have you tried another monitor? Is there any beeps when you start the computer? Can you hear fans running, lights, etc? If you have tried another monitor and no joy, unplug the computer from the wall socket and push in the on button to disperse any stored charges. Remove the cover from the unit, ground yourself by touching the frame to remover static electricity, make sure video card is seated properly, ram is seated properly, etc. Is it clean? Clean with canned air (not vacuum). Plug back in and turn the unit on. Are the fans running, any lights? Please come back and let us know the results and any more details. It may be the psu as well.
