Default Ungrading help.

Hi guys I am new to this site and was wondering if anyone can drop me some advice on upgrading my video card.

I have and integrated geforce7025/nforce 630a and was wondering if i can disable that to with a new video card.

Also what video card can i buy that can fully support games like cod5 without lagging and playing in slow motion. Because i have got cod5 but it plays but very slowly i got a dual core 5600+ cpu and 2gb ram so i think i need to get a new graphics card because my onboard graphic card seems like it can not handle the pressure.

Thanks al

Here is the specs on your mobo Motherboard GPU Technical Specifications. Your mobo has one slot for a PCI express 16 video card. You can upgrade to whatever amount of money you want to spend. On my mobo the onboard video was disable by inserting a new video card but on some mobo you have to go into the bios to disable same.

I thought we were talking about a 7025/nforce630A! The Gigabyte mobo also has a PCI express 16 slot so you can put a video card in that one as well. See GIGABYTE - Support&Download - Motherboard - Manual - GA-M68SM-S2L (rev. 1.0)

Ok I get it now! The nforce is the video built into the Gigabyte mobo. You can install the PCI express 16 and then you may have to enter the bios to disable the onboard video. Read page 17 in the manual http://europe.giga-byte.com/FileList...68sm-s2l_e.pdf

Before anything, check the box your COD game came in, it will list at least the minimum hardware requirements. Imagine doing all this to find out not enough ram or slower processor ?
