Default no usb im bios
Hi i sure hope someone can please help me....Please
Heres my problem there is nothing showing in my bios on how to enable usb or anything even listed under the device mananger on usb devices. How do i go about fixing this? I can't install my printer with the usb connection not working. Please Help.

Yeah. BIOS updates can help a ton of things, and give you a lot more features.

Try clearing your CMOS that will bring everything in your bios back to default. To do it the easiest way is to remove the battery for 10 minutes after you have switched off the power and removed the power lead. Personally I leave the PC powered down after removing the lead for 5 minutes or so to allow any residual power in the conductors to dissipate.

Hi could someone be nice enough to tell me how to go about upgrading my bios. I also have one more question i have a exclamation mark beside a pci simple communications controller in the device manager does anyone have a clue what this is? Any help would sure be appreciated sorry i'm not the best at computer problems. I have asus p5a motherboard

Ok if you have the motherboard cd you can install asus updater through there or go to asus's website and download it from there and you just follow the steps to update the bios. Make sure you select the correct motherboard. What I recommend is after you instal asus updater you go to asus.com and select your motherboard and download the updated bios then select update bios from file in asus updater.
