I can only see what's on the manual I downloaded for your model, it covers 2 models, but shows no difference. That could be the reason for the discrepency.
You can plug them in on a single block, the blank (no pin) next to F_USB2 should be pin 9, pin 10 below it would be no connection, 7 & 8 would be ground, 1 & 2 would be + 5v, so match them up one above the other.
IEEE 1394 are firewire connections. According to the manual I have your board does not support it, so tie the cables up out of the way and forget them.
It's mainly used for camcorders, although there are other uses.
