OK so I am going to get a computer from ibuypower.com, my budget is 1300$ out the door (includes shipping tax etc). So since I have not been in the computer world for years I was wondering if you guys can go to :

or
http://www.ibuypower.com/ibp/store/c...r.aspx?mid=224 for the quad core configurator
And respond to me the best combination of hardware I could buy for 1300$

then i wouldent go with quad core... dual core should be enough

some gaming?? well, if you are not a Hardcore online gamer, then i would suggest to go with the Duo Core

Depending on what games you are playing I would suggest mid range Core Duo, just don't try to play Crysis on Ubar settings
