Default Dream Computer

I'd thought this would be fun. Post the specs of what your dream computer would be. mine:

Quad-core AMD Phenom x4 ~2.6ghz
XCLIO silver case
DFI LP UT 790FX mobo
Rosewell RCX CPU cooler
WD SATA 750g HD
Kingston DDR2 Dual channel 2(2x1g) x2
Aero Cool Zerobda 650w PSU
M-Audio Revolution 5.1 def. sound card
GeForce 8800GTS vid card

I think that will do the trick

Ok, my dream would be having 2 10,000RPM HDD's setup in a RAID just for the OS so it will boot QUICK! it would have 2 500Gb HDD's just for programs and storage... I would have the new AM3 when AMD brings it out with 8Gb of DDR3 RAM. It would also have twin 9series Nvidia cards in it (again when they come out) and i would still use my trusty Logitech LX3 Laser mouse and Compaq keyboard...

Any comments?

You do realise that Acer products begin to fall apart after you've used them for a week or so? And that they come back from warranty repair worse than they went?

Using a SSD as your boot drive would mean it would boot up pretty quickly.

Good choice of case manufacturer. I recently bought one of their "wind tunnel" designs and it works really well. I went and looked at the ones I think you were talking about and it looks like it would work pretty well for your rig.

that's my two cents...
