Default New computer build problems
Hello,
I have recently built a computer (Intel quad core Q6600, ASUS P5NE motherboard, eVGA 8800 GT, 2GB ram, ASUS dvd writer, w/ 500 GB hard drive). One issue I have with it is when turning on, it sometimes will boot and other times will send power to everything just not boot up. This also poses a problem for restarting purposes. I am having trouble getting windows vista on it and am only running Ubuntu right now. Any help or advice is appreciated.

not much on thses things but I,d check if you have the most current drivers for all the hardware,If you can get it to boot and go to the manufacters websites, check for latest and greatest Old fart
