I need to find a replacement with similar specs so that it will work all my current hardware. I have researching on the net, but am still confused whether or not certain boards will work.

Cpu-intel pent 4
memory ddr 184
hd sata
current chipset on old mobo is an intel 915g

Will this board work?

If not could you recommend a board from newegg.com or some other seller.

I am uncertain about the chipset spec. I can't find the exact one anywhere and don't know what else will work.

By doing so, you are helping to keep this site running in the future, and we will respond to your thread faster too. If you can't help us, then we can't help you.

I personally cannot see any reason why the motherboard you want to buy won't be compatible with your old one. And as with all other people who want us to spend the time it takes to find hardware on the net - just buy it and see if it works. It should do. If not, you can send it back for a refund and work out why it went wrong.
