| We had a dimension that at times would do similarly, it would run slow and the fan would kick into high. We had the fan replaced and it seems to have fixed the problem. In the 2 month since, the user has not reported the problem (like yours). I would see about replacing the fan. We also noted that the fan was not mounted properly, providing proper cooling. The original fan had some broken mounts, the replacement took care of that. |

I'll pop open the computer tonight and check out the fan mounts. ________________________ This user added the following: ________________________ well it turns out all the vents were blocked by dust build-up.
