Default upgrading graphics card

hello, im new here. your all sick of this kind of post but here goes anyway.

i need advice on how i should upgrade my graphics card

i have about £100 -> £150 to burn, built my pc 1&1/2 years ago, and because of my position i can claim VAT back if i shop at www.misco.co.uk

i use dual screens so it'd have to support that
i'd use this card for occasional gameplay and game development (use of 3D software)

these are the options im currently considering

1) go for a card £50 -£70 and set it up with SLI. if you do this and both GFX cards only have 1 monitor socket can i still go dual screens?
one i've looked at: XFX GeForce 8600GT 512Mb

2) go for a more expensive card at the higher end of my budget
one i've looked at: Inno3D I-Chill 7900GS

which of these two methods would produce better results?
are the Gfx cards i've pointed out good options?
would you suggest a better Gfx card/cards i could get for £150?

thanks alot

Default XFX

Hi,

I would try to go with XFX if not looking at the ATI aspect of things. XFX seems to be a pretty solid name.

did you realize that the inno 3d or whatever is only for vista? do you use only vista? cause if you wanted to use xp the graphics card wouldnt be able to right? it sd minimum requirements are vista.
