What would be a good ATI video card for gaming in Windows Vista? I have a x600 but doesn't work very well

What games do you plan to play, and do you have a PCI-E or AGP slot avalible?
What is your budget range

I mostly play second life it is a PCI-E slot and money isnt that big of an issue, but I would like to get the best deal for the money I spend.

Id get a 2900 Series ... that is about the only ATI video card id get if i could afford it

Hi,

I got an X850 Pro and have not had any trouble with it but the games coming up now I will need more and like was just stated, about the only ATI card higher end costs lots of $$ compared to a good 8600 or 8800 for XFX for example.

Wait until november 15th when the HD 3850 and 3870 come out.
