im really stressed out , i ordered a new hard drive ... arrived and i put it in /cables etc...now the dell 5150 has the 1 2 3 lights on the front ..i have a cursor blinking top left corner ...i dont know what to do ...the previous pc shop i took it to just doesnt want to handle it coz of the dilemea that happened !! i might take it to another repair shop but i want to know what cud be the problem ..im not too knowledgable about inside a pc..im wodnering if theres a cable that cud be loose

I don't know what the 123 lights are that you are talking about, but if it is your main HD you need to install windows on it.

this is the document m8 ..scroll half way down theres a guide on the ligths thing ..i cant access the bios or nothing ...i feel its the motherboard again ...the machines worth 200ish and a new motherboard will be 120-140 ...not worth it

im gettin some decent amoutn of money soon .. to get a nice machine between 600-700 pounds ..any reccomendations? specs etc ..i wud be able to custom build a machine by giving the parts to someone ..but buying something with warrenty does overwelm that
