Default Gordon Moore Acknowledges His Law Will Come To An End

In a talk with tech nation radio show host Moria Gunn, Intel Chairman Emeritus Gordon Moore Acknowladged that Moores Law will eventually come to an end in perhaps 10 to 15 years. In 1965, Moore predicted that the number of transistors on a chip will double every couple of years ( 2). that prediction has been proved accurate for ore than 4 Decades, thanks to Advanced in manufacturing chip design. Moore says that the industry's scientists and engineers have repeatdly pulled off miracles that have kept progress going. But he believes that the industry is going to hit its fundimental limits to further shrinking chips and designing circuits that can work at atomic levels .

So I wonder when technology is going to hit a brick wall. I'll love that day because then everybody can stop trying to chase the bleeding edge.
