I'd go for vista 32-bit. SP1 is due out pretty soon and despite what people say, it's a nice OS.

Yeah, I'm using 32bit now and I got some beta SP1 or something through where my Dad works(shhh), it gave me about 10-15 more FPS in my games so I guess it helped out a pretty good amount.

I will say go with XP, and order Vista if you really need any of the features. Having it "because it's the newest" isn't really a good reason for owning a copy of Vista.

I'm on my new comp now, its running great. Getting some nice FPS in my games. I scored a 5.9 on everything on the Vista scoring thing except for RAM, which scored a 5.0. Would that be due to the speed of my ram pc6400 or the amount 2gb?
