| Hi Schiller58, Welcome to CompuForums! Thanks for becoming a valued member of our community. We're here to help you for free, so I hope that you can help us by exploring the rest of the forum, posting in some of the other threads and adding yourself to our member map. We may be able to find out the wattage of your PSU by you providing your computer's make and model number, but it's far easier to simply open the case. And if you're trying to find out your power supply details, then it's likely that you want to upgrade the hardware - which will require opening the case anyway.

| ok I understand I will have to open it at some point, just trying to open it as little as possible, just to be safe. I'm a little paranoid when it comes to working with electronics, I don't want to ruin anything. Ok, well I am planning on buying a new video card, and upgrading other parts on my computer, so I might as well upgrade my Power Supply while I'm at it. Thanks for the help |
