1. I decrypt using DVD Decrypter
2. I use DVD shrink & shrink the file.
3. I use DVD Decrypt 3.1.7 to burn backup
4. I get msg that source has 4xxxx sectors & target has only 2xxxx, even tho I have burned on these discs prior. What has changed? how can I work around? I am a novice

This could be due to copy protection. Was the DVD released fairly recently?

If you have only tried with one blank disk, it could be defective. Have you tried another blank disk?

Also, check all the software you use to do it is up to date.

Finially, try burning a different disk - it could be a problem with your DVD burner.
