Default When it comes to choosing an optical mouse

An optical mouse provides much more precision control than a regular wheel mouse especially good when you are working with graphics and gaming!!

Don't fall for optical mouses that costs $6 etc.. Because I’ve had personal experience with them and they are a rip off!! in the long run after 3 or 4 months they will really degrade cursor won't move, will freeze.. Etc always buy an optical mouse in the 12-20 price range trust me you won't regret it in the long run. Low price doesn’t always mean good quality. Have any of you had this experience before? I mean, in the long run, you end up actually saving more money and time, rather then going back and returning and finding our your cheap warranty doesn’t cover the damages.

Isn't that sentence supposed to say;
'Low price doesn't always mean poor quality.' ?

It's a fact that low price things can actually be better than
expencive ones. The price got nothing to do with it.
It's the quality of the product that matters.

Well, I paid £20 (about $34) for a wireless keyboard and mouse made by Creative, and it is brilliant, but now I use the HP one on this PC.

never said its always true.. but my experience has taught me that it has always been true when it comes to electronics tech stuff any way.. for example.. there are low quality dvd's for cheap price and there are high quality dvd's for a higher price.. and it is true that the high priced one has better quality last longer and better dye on it and higher compatibliity rate.

I've always experienced the opposite.
Buying something expensive always turns out to be a bad choise.
It seems to me like they build the new things to "crash" and what not after a certain ammount of time... Best to make things yourself.
Get a circuit-board and some components and put it together

I bought a wireless optical mouse for $10 and after about three months it stopped working.

I am going to buy a wireless keyboard at Best buy for $200
It has a nice keys and a built in touch pad and all kinds of media controls.

I have a Logitech wireless mouse. Except for having to change the battery all the time, it's okay. I've had it for since probably August.

Yes, Logitech does make great mice. Comfortable to use for long periods of time, and are precise and stylish. Plus, the rechargeable batteries Logitech puts in them are great and last for quite awhile. But, you'll find that Optical Mice will start to phase out this year, and Laser Mice will be in. I already have a Logitech Laser Mouse, it was expensive, but well worth it. We'll also start to see prices on Laser Mice fall dramatically. Plus, we might see the end of Wired Mice.
