Wireless :smt003 but one bad thing about it is, is amount of batteries you have to change :smt011 . Though, I rather have freedom, lying in bed, that sort of stuff/ So yeah, wireless

I prefer wired since most wireless keyboards have the problem of LOS.

Wireless, it's easier, cable free and lets you use it anywhere in the room [almost].

@Java_Execption: My keyboard dosen't have any line of sight problems, I can use it even with the receiver behind the PC.

I think older keyboards do have this problem, though.

I usually like wired because its a faster response time. Sometimes i can feel the lag when i used my wireless mouse.

definetly wired mouse and keyboard for me. i dont ever need to worry or even think about changing the batteries. wires dont get tangled if you put it in the right places.

For mice I prefer wireless, but I don't find wireless keyboards to have much of a drawback. I don't mind changing batteries for one device, but i wouldn't like changing both keyboard and mouse batteries.

I don't really care if it's either. I have a Logitech MX Laser mouse--it's absolutely great. I've never noticed any lag with wireless mice. As for keyboards, I've used a wireless keyboard, but not with gaming. I didn't notice any lag with it though. Besides, the signal is traveling at the speed of light to the receiver, and then that signal is interpreted in near real-time, so I highly doubt that anyone can tell the difference between a good wireless mouse and a corded mouse or keyboard. Note the key word is "good." It's just like people buying a more expensive LCD monitor because it has 8ms response time instead of 16ms response time. In either case, you won't notice the difference. However, like I said, with cheap mouse or keyboards that are wireless, one might notice a lag, but I think that has more to do with the specific components (and also power-saving features), and not so much to do with the principle of a wireless mouse or keyboard.

In theory, a good wireless mouse should be "faster" than a corded mouse. The signal from the mouse has to travel through electrical wires to the connection of the computer--which is much slower than the speed of light. However, no one will notice a difference--which is how silly the discussion of wireless vs. wired is.

I have to say batteries are an issue with wireless products. I have a bluetooth apple mouse for my ibook which is bluetooth, I tend to just use the trackpad though, and on my PC I have a wireless mouse and fingerprint reader on the USB part of it. But I have a wired Aluminium Keyboard. Dad used to have wireless kb and mouse but his mouse died so he is all wired up now. I guess it dont really matter what you use but why get wireless if your gonna spill stuff on it and stuff, wired kb and mice are just like £6 now.
