Default External Graphics Cards

I really want to be able to use my laptop a bit more than I do. At the moment its sitting in the shelf of my desk just gathering dust. The main reason for not using it is because of the poor graphics. Its 128mb shared. Ive upgraded the Ram, Hard Disk but cant upgrade the graphics card because its built into the motherboard and obviously there is no space for one. I thought I was at a total loss on this until I found this Asus XG Station: External graphics card - Crave at CNET.co.uk

I just wondered what other CompuForums members thought of this idea and whether you think its any good or not before I go out and buy one. My laptop never goes traveling any where so portability is not too much of a problem. Could this be the answer to my problems. Any feedback would be great

Well, I'm far from an expert on this sort of stuff, but that looks a pretty leaver thing. How much is it? - I couldn't see a price on it.

One thing I'm not too keen on is that over clocking knob. Surly it would be too easy to fry something like that?

Yeah thats what I thought, but then I reckon they have designed it to be cranked right up! after all it does say it will outrun any Alienware laptop. Not sure on price but if its Less than £200 I'm gonna get me one. Cant wait to play with the over clocking Knob!
